Emily Hartz is the Executive Director of Administration and Operations for the Artificial Intelligence Interdisciplinary Institute at Maryland (AIM) and the University of Maryland Institute for Advanced Computer Studies (UMIACS), serving as the chief administrative officer for both organizations. She is responsible for senior-level strategic planning for both UMIACS and AIM, with a focus on finance, personnel and facilities.
