Shantelle Aidoo

Program Manager, Academic Program Operations

Shantelle is the Program Manager for Academic Operations for AIM. In this role, she supports the development, implementation, and management of academic programs. She also helps develop the AIM Education Office, mentors professional academic advisors, and supervises student employees within AIM: Ed.

Shantelle earned an M.A. in Higher Education and Student Development with a concentration in Student Affairs from George Mason University (2022) and a B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Delaware (2019). Before joining AIM, she served as the Academic Advisor for Immersive Media Design.

She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Higher Education and Student Affairs with a concentration in Student Affairs. Her research focuses on Black and African American student success and the effects of educational taxation on students of color through the lens of Black Feminist Epistemologies. She is passionate about empowering students to become the best versions of themselves as they work toward earning their degrees.

Outside of work, Shantelle enjoys binge-watching TV shows, traveling the world, spending time with family and friends, and catching up on sleep whenever she can.
